Professors and teachers of the Department of Public Law are involved in the implementation of the President's programs and plans for the development of the state, in the implementation of research work "The main directions of improving public administration in Turkmenistan for 2017-2019." Professors teach courses on constitutional law of Turkmenistan, history of state and law of Turkmenistan, theory of state and law, legal foundations of combating corruption, criminal law, international law, local government law and a number of other subjects. Meetings, round tables and scientific and practical conferences are organized with lawyers and experts from Turkmenistan and other countries in order to constantly improve the professionalism of professors and teachers, improve their experience and improve the quality of education. Professors and teachers help professionals to master the topics approved for the annual and graduate work of students, organize training courses in relevant fields, retraining and advanced training. Relevant legal advice is also provided in sectors and central government agencies, legal literacy, legal culture and consciousness of civil servants and officials are increased, and they can apply their national laws and laws in performing public administration functions. In addition, civil servants are encouraged to make a worthy contribution to the current economic, socio-cultural and administrative-political activities in Turkmenistan, which are a matter of public administration. Each teacher regularly and continuously learns and implements positive experiences inside and outside the academy related to their mission.
This department trains civil servants of local executive bodies and local self-government bodies (training period 2 months), training civil servants for commercial arbitration (training period 4 months), training civil servants (4 months), the state apparatus. Training of civil servants (training period 2 years) is carried out in the areas of training.
