The Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The central focus of the talks was expanding bilateral partnership in the field of training, retraining, and professional development of administrative and managerial personnel.
During the constructive dialogue, the two sides reviewed prospects for establishing regular contacts between specialized educational and research centers of both countries, as well as introducing joint exchange programs for best practices in state and municipal governance.
It was emphasized that the interstate dialogue rests on centuries-old traditions of good-neighborliness and has today reached a qualitatively new level of deepened strategic partnership. Clear evidence of this includes the Agreement on the Establishment of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, signed in October 2026 in Avaza, alongside the implementation of large-scale joint projects in transport, logistics, energy, and environmental protection.
The held talks reaffirmed the mutual commitment of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to strengthening academic ties and advancing professional exchange in the interest of the socio-economic progress of both fraternal nations.
