In the modern global economy and public administration, effective decision-making, the enhancement of leadership skills, and the study of international practices are key priorities. A lecturer of the Department of Management of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan participated in a specialized international training seminar at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) in New Delhi, in the framework of ITEC program of the Republic of India.
This high-level international program, titled "Management Development Programme" took place from September 22 to October 5, 2026. It brought together 36 specialists and managers from 35 countries. The training sessions and workshops were conducted entirely in English, providing an excellent opportunity not only to enhance professional skills but also to freely exchange ideas on an international level.
The program covered topics such as "Strategic Thinking and Decision-Making," "Data Analysis in Complex Organizational Situations," "Risk Forecasting," "The Logic of Decision-Making—Key Factors to Consider," "Leadership and Communication Skills," "Team Conflict Management, Coordinating Diverse Perspectives, and Conducting Effective Negotiations," "Digital Media and Public Policy," and "The Impact of Modern Digital Technologies on Public Administration, Public Relations, and Information Security." Practical sessions were also organized to reinforce theoretical knowledge. Field visits were conducted at the PMGS practical center and the Indian Parliament building. Additionally, a cultural trip to the famous Taj Mahal in Agra was organized, allowing participants to explore the country's historical and cultural heritage—a truly memorable experience for all involved. This international visit demonstrates the continued strengthening of the exchange of experience in science and education between Turkmenistan and India. The wealth of experience and new knowledge gained at the IIPA will make a significant contribution to enhancing our country's civil service system, training young professionals, and further improving educational and methodological work.
