Representatives of the Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan took part in the International Forum "GovHR: new Systems, modern services, innovative solutions", which was held on June 20 in the capital of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized on the eve of the International Civil Service Day, celebrated each year on June 23 at the initiative of the UN. The forum was dedicated to the development of progressive approaches to human resource management in the public sector. As part of inter-university international cooperation, the Turkmen delegation studied foreign experience and national practices in the field of HR technologies for public administration.
As reported by the Academy, the strategy of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is aimed at improving the well-being of the population and introducing innovations in all areas of the economy, including the labor market. During the forum, the participants discussed the importance of exchanging innovations to improve public HR services, implement intelligent solutions and form a transparent human capital management system.
Representatives of the Turkmen Academy noted the importance of such international events for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation and improvement of the system of training civil servants in the context of digitalization. The Academy of State Service under the President of Turkmenistan is implementing a long-term national strategy to improve the qualifications of the human resources potential of government bodies. The program includes planning and usage of human resources, development of digital education, international cooperation and monitoring of personnel management.
At the end of May 2025, the Academy held a five-day online course “Innovative Approaches in Human Resource Management” jointly with the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
